Public speaking has been compared to a lot of things ranging from learning how to walk to learning how to dress or learning online from a distance. All it requires is a bit of confidence and the motivation to strive for perfection. Like everything else, the initial times result in defeat but the key is to keep going and not give up. After the individual experiences his first victory, there is no stopping him. He automatically knows what to do next i.e. where to continue and where to stop.

The trick is to make even the most boring of topics interesting by orating it in a way that the audience attention is never lost. Remember that this is not something that can achieved very easily and requires time, patience and practice.
